Hello

I'm happy you've found your way here! For more than 20 years, I've successfully organized people, processes and communications to produce projects, build businesses and organizations. I've managed million dollar projects and multi-million dollar budgets as well as projects that were put together with a little elbow grease and paint. I've enjoyed every minute working with people in bringing their ideas to life whether that be an entrepreneurial or nonprofit venture, a literary work, a performance or an 150'x 80' tall sculpture right in the middle of a major city and a major traffic roundabout. (Yes, that happened!)

My Story

Caroline Carlisle Vincent has more than 20 years’ experience as an organizational and civic leader, arts administrator, curator, project manager and funder in the public and private sector. She previously served as the executive director of the local arts agency in Nashville, Tennessee where she led strategic initiatives and programs, which included the distribution of $3+ million in funding for the arts community through grants and artist funding programs. She managed a public art budget of more than $4 million. Other special projects include equity initiatives and youth programs, such as an arts and restorative justice program in partnership with Juvenile Court.

For more than a decade, she led Nashville's public art program and was responsible for increasing the collection from a handful of artworks to more than 100. She directed some of Nashville's largest public art projects including Christian Moeller’s Stix, Haddad-Drugan’s Light Meander and Walter Hood's Witness Walls. In 2017, she steered the first city-wide public art planning process that resulted in a Public Art Community Investment Plan that positions public art as a community investment tool for neighborhood transformation, creative workforce development and equitable practices.

Prior to these roles, she served as the curator for the Nashville International Airport, a gallery owner and downtown Nashville arts pioneer, as well as an arts and grant consultant. She is a graduate of the 2020 Leadership Nashville class and has served in various national and community leadership roles and advisory councils over the years, including most recently Music Makes Us, which supports arts and music in public schools, and the Americans for the Arts Public Art Network Council.

Currently, she’s focused on project and grants management, and works with a variety of clients who are passionate about making the world a better place.
